The Problem
Hundreds of high-value, complex pre-suit and litigation matters were active at once, each requiring coordination across attorneys, providers, insurers, and clients while maintaining momentum toward resolution.
The Context
I managed catastrophically and ultra-catastrophically injured clients across California, working remotely from Texas, while several were navigating the additional disruption of the 2025 California wildfires.
The Analysis
Sustaining that volume without dropping cases meant the work had to run on systems, not heroics. I looked at where complexity was slowing cases down (documentation gaps, procurement delays, inconsistent communication) and where evidence needed to become undeniable.
The Solution
I built repeatable communication systems, documentation standards, and case-progression workflows, paired injury-specific treatment planning with compelling demand structures, and redesigned medical-record procurement using wet-signature capture and expanded vendor partnerships.
The Results
Developed a litigation development pipeline exceeding $100 million in potential value, frequently securing pre-suit policy-limits settlements without litigation, and earned the only exclusively five-star review record among case managers during my tenure.
Lessons Learned
At scale, advocacy is a system. The compassion is real, but it's the repeatable structure underneath it that lets you deliver it to everyone.
